Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The background is a warm soft cream, so on bright cool-white walls it will read slightly yellow. It looks best on warm off-white, plaster, oat or beige walls, or paired with warm wood furniture. If your walls are crisp cool white, a black or warm brown frame helps bridge the contrast.

Not really. The black cat is bold, but it sits on a large cream background that keeps the piece feeling open. In a smaller bedroom, go for the medium size above a bedside table or low chest, rather than a statement scale, and the room will still feel calm.

It can, as long as the rug is warm-toned and not too graphic. The print's own rug pattern is soft and faded, so it pairs well with worn Persian-style or kilim rugs in rust, cream and brown. Avoid placing it directly above a busy modern geometric rug — the two patterns will compete.
