How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the red patterned cloth clash with a red kitchen floor or tile?
It can. The red in this print is a warm earthy red rather than a bright tomato red, so it sits with terracotta tiles, brick or warm clay floors well. If your kitchen already has strong red gloss tile or pillarbox red cabinets, expect a fight — better on a cream or off-white wall.
Is the cat looking left, right or straight ahead?
Straight at the viewer. The cat is seated, body angled slightly to the right, but the face and yellow eyes look directly out. That makes it a strong focal point — good above a sideboard or dining table where people sit opposite.
Does it work in a small kitchen or will it overpower the room?
It can work in a small kitchen if it's the only patterned thing on the wall. Go for the medium size rather than large, keep the surrounding wall plain cream or off-white, and avoid putting it next to busy tea towels, patterned tiles or a gallery of other prints.
