    About This Art

Rooms go quieter when bright blue is this sure of itself. Seven patterned ducks paddle across wavy water, and the whole wall stops being background. Hang it where children spend time: above a low bookshelf, beside a cot, or on the wall at the end of a bunk bed. It also earns its place in a kitchen nook or a small breakfast corner. Keep the furniture simple around it — pale wood, white paint, plain cotton bedding — and let the pattern do the talking. Avoid busy wallpaper, other strong patterns, or a crowded shelf directly beneath it. One or two calm objects below is plenty. On premium fine-art paper the flat blocks of blue, pink and orange stay crisp and clean.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this feel too busy in a small nursery?

It holds together better than you would expect, because all seven ducks share the same three colours. In a small room, hang it on the plainest wall you have and keep the surface beneath it nearly clear. One lamp or a low basket is enough. Skip patterned bedding or wallpaper on the same wall and it reads as one confident block of colour.

Does the blue read as bright or as a deeper navy?

It is a strong, clear mid-blue rather than navy, with lighter blue used inside some of the patterns. Against white or soft pink walls it stays lively and warm. Next to grey walls it can look cooler, so if your room leans grey, warm it up with cream bedding, pale wood or a woven basket nearby.

Will children still like it as they get older?

Most do, because it is pattern-led rather than cartoonish. There are no faces beyond simple eyes and no storybook scene to grow out of. It moves easily from a nursery to a shared kids' room, and plenty of people end up rehanging it in a kitchen corner or hallway once the cot has gone.

What sits well next to it on a wall?

Keep companions simple. A plain line drawing, a single flat colour shape, or a hand-lettered name in blue or pink will sit beside it without a fight. Give it the centre spot and let it be the largest piece. Avoid a second all-over pattern nearby, as the two will blur into each other from across the room.
