    About This Art

Instinct says a dog in a jumper belongs small, somewhere near the kettle. Ignore it. At 70cm tall or more the joke stops being a joke and becomes a presence, the kind of thing guests stand in front of with a drink. The grey ground does the grown-up work, so the soft pink never tips into nursery territory. Hang it at the end of a hallway where a plain painted wall needs one thing to look at. Or give it the space above a charcoal linen sofa and let the pink pick up a single cushion. Small, it is a greetings card. Big, it is the best thing in the room. On premium fine-art paper the flat colour stays matt and even, which suits the painted feel.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink look too sweet in a grown-up living room?

Not on a grey or off-white wall. The grey ground around the figure takes up most of the picture and keeps the pink in check, so the whole thing reads as muted rather than candy. It turns sugary only when the room already has a lot of pink, so keep the rest of the room to grey, charcoal, pale wood and one blush cushion at most.

How big should I go for a hallway wall?

Larger than feels sensible. The shapes are flat and simple, so there is nothing to lean in and look at, and a small version reads as a card. On an end wall or a narrow stretch of corridor aim for around 70cm tall, filling roughly two thirds of the wall width, hung with the pug's eye close to your own eye level.

Does it work in a child's room as well as a living room?

Yes, and it does not look out of place in either. In a kids' room the pug is the character, and the pink and grey sit well with white furniture and a grey rug. In a living room the same colours read as a knowing bit of humour against a charcoal sofa. The piece moves rooms as a child grows without looking babyish.
