Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Not if you place it thoughtfully. In a downstairs loo, a bright kitchen corner or a reading nook, the pink reads as a warm accent rather than a nursery cue, especially alongside blond wood, rattan and linen. The character of the pigeon and the mix of feather colours give it enough visual weight to feel considered rather than sweet.

A medium size sits nicely above a standard cot or a low painted dresser. It's big enough to read the scalloped feather pattern from across the room, but not so large that it dominates a small nursery. If you're hanging it in a wider space like a kitchen wall, size up so the pink field has room to breathe.

It plays nicely with blond woods, rattan and pale oak, and with soft terracotta as long as the terracotta isn't too orange. Where it struggles is against heavy beige-and-brown neutrals or cool grey walls — those tones flatten the pink and make the whole piece feel stranded rather than cheerful.
