About This Art
Back in the 1890s, this bird portrait belonged to another kind of home — a naturalist's study, all glass cases and pinned specimens. Given a crown of pink roses, daisies and blue wildflowers, it turns into something far friendlier. Hung up, it gives a plain room a focal point with a bit of humour in it, and the cream background keeps the whole thing light rather than heavy. It works above a chest of drawers, beside a cot, or on a narrow hallway wall where people pass close enough to notice the detail. Pair it with pale wood, cane, soft linen and one dusty pink or muted blue accent picked out of the flowers. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

Will this suit a child's room as they get older?
Yes. There is nothing babyish in it — the drawing is detailed and the colours are soft rather than bright. It sits just as well in a teenager's room or a hallway later on, so you can move it rather than replace it. Many buyers start it in a nursery and shift it to a landing wall.
Is the eagle's expression too stern for a young child's room?
It looks straight at you, which gives it presence, but the flower crown softens it a lot. Most children read it as friendly and funny rather than fierce. If you want to play that down, hang it above a chest of drawers rather than directly facing the cot or bed.
Will it work if my walls are white rather than coloured?
It will, though the cream background sits very close to bright white. On a pure white wall, add a frame with a visible edge or hang it against pale green, soft pink or warm off-white so the picture has a defined boundary. On chalky off-white walls it blends beautifully with no help needed.
