    About This Art

We like still life best when it comes with a little abrasion. The grainy ink, the punchy orange against deep blue, the lowercase word doing all the talking — this is fruit-bowl art with attitude. Hung in a kitchen or breakfast nook it lifts a quiet room without trying too hard, pulling out warm tones in oak cabinets, terracotta pots and pale tile. It sits well above a sideboard, a coffee station or a small dining table, and it plays nicely with cream walls, soft pinks and washed blue ceramics. Keep the surrounding shelves edited — a couple of stoneware jars, a plant, nothing fussy. Avoid heavy traditional florals and dark gallery-style portraits nearby; this one wants a little breathing room. Stretched as canvas wall art on a wooden frame, ready to hang.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the bright orange clash with a warm terracotta or rust kitchen?

It can. The peach reads as a strong, slightly red-leaning orange and wants a quieter cream, off-white or soft blue-grey wall behind it. If your kitchen already runs on terracotta, rust or burnt orange, the print will fight the room rather than lift it. It shines best where it is the only big shot of orange in the space.

Is the grainy texture meant to look like that?

Yes — the halftone dots and slightly rough ink are part of the risograph look, which is a deliberate retro printing style. Up close you'll see soft grain across the peach and flowers; from across the room it reads as a clean, punchy poster. It is not a flaw or a low-resolution issue.

Will the Japanese characters along the bottom feel out of place in a Western kitchen?

They sit as small typographic detail rather than a focal point, balancing the large lowercase 'peach' word. Most people read them as graphic pattern from a step back. If you want a fully English-language print this isn't the right one, but in mixed modern interiors they add a quiet design-led accent.
