    About This Art

Unlike most dog art, this doesn't wait for approval. One big cream shape, one deep rust red ground, and a very clear point of view. On a plain wall it reads as a graphic block of warm colour first and a dog second, which is exactly why it holds a room. Hang it in a hallway where you pass it daily, above a sideboard, or on a kids' room wall that needs one strong note instead of five small ones. Pair it with warm timber, rattan, cream linen and terracotta pots. Don't crowd it with fussy botanicals or busy patterned art — it needs plain wall either side to land properly. On canvas, the painted texture reads softer up close.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the rust red look too dark on a north-facing wall?

It holds up well. The red is warm rather than grey-based, so in cooler north light it reads as a rich clay tone instead of going flat. The large cream area keeps the whole thing feeling open. If your room is very dim, go a size up so the shape still reads from the doorway.

Does it look like a specific dog breed?

Not really. The long muzzle and drop ear suggest a hound or spaniel, but it's deliberately simplified into one continuous shape. That's part of the appeal — most dog owners see something of their own dog in it, rather than a portrait of someone else's.

Is it too bold for a small hallway?

A small hallway is actually one of the better places for it. Because the design is just two colours and one shape, it doesn't feel cluttered even at close range. Keep the wall around it bare and hang it at eye level on the longest stretch of wall you have.
