    About This Art

Back in the 1910s, this stadium belonged to another kind of home. Seen from above, San Mamés reads as a quiet piece of map-making: soft grey stands, a green pitch, the river curving past and terracotta rooftops on the edge. Put it up and the wall gets a talking point without any noise — the colours stay pale and calm, so it behaves like a neutral until someone steps close and recognises the ground. It suits a home office above a desk, a hallway at eye level, or a snug beside a reading chair. Pair it with pale wood, off-white walls, linen and simple ceramics. Avoid crowding it with loud club merchandise or bright team colours; the whole point is that it looks grown-up. Stretched over a wooden frame as a canvas, ready to hang.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will this read as a football print, or just an abstract map?

From a distance it reads as a soft aerial map, which is why it suits calm rooms. Step closer and the pitch, stands and roof structure are clear, and the caption names the ground and city. That double life is the appeal: neutral from the doorway, personal from a metre away.

What size do I need for it to stay readable?

Go medium rather than small. The streets, rooftops and river are drawn finely, so a small size loses the detail that makes it interesting. A medium portrait size at eye level, or centred about 25cm above a desk, keeps everything legible from a metre or two away.

Will the pale colours hold up on a white wall?

Yes, though the border almost merges with a bright white wall, which some people like. If you want more definition, a slim black frame or a soft grey wall gives it a firmer edge. On a darker painted wall the off-white ground reads as a clean, deliberate mount.
