About This Art
You don't need more decor. You need one schnauzer with teeth. This one is drawn in a single restless black line, so it reads as attitude first and dog second. Hung in a hallway or study it does the job a mirror can't: it gives a plain wall a bit of cheek without adding colour to manage. Keep it at eye level on a white or pale grey wall, or above a low sideboard where the white background can breathe. Pair it with pale wood, black metal, linen and one plain ceramic. Don't crowd it with busy patterned pieces or other black-and-white line art, and skip a heavy mount that squashes the scribble. As a stretched canvas the edges soften slightly and it hangs flat and frameless.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will it still look like a schnauzer from across the room?
Yes, as long as you go medium or larger. The beard, eyebrows and stance carry the shape, and the drawing pulls together from about 1.5 to 3 metres away. Up close you see the loops and tangles instead, which is part of the appeal. Very small sizes are where the line starts reading as a scribble first.
Does it work in a room that already has strong colour?
It does, and that is often where it works best. Black and white gives a busy or colourful room somewhere to rest without introducing another shade to balance. Hang it on the plainest wall you have, keep the surrounding shelf or surface simple, and let the white background do the calming.
Can I hang it as a pair with another dog drawing?
Yes. Two portrait scribble drawings hung side by side with a hand's width between them looks intentional, especially above a bench or sideboard. Keep both the same size and stick to line work in the same black. Mixing in a colourful or photographic pet portrait makes the pairing look accidental.
