    About This Art

Against plaster, the charcoal reads less sweet, more deliberate. The circle does the work here: it pulls a flat wall into focus and gives a quiet corner a point to settle on. Hang it at eye level in a study or above a bedside table, where the small type and pinprick stars can be read up close. Off-white walls let the dark disc sit forward; deep grey or inky walls make it feel cocooning. Pair it with dark wood, black metal, aged leather and plain linen. Skip glossy surfaces and busy patterned wallpaper next to it, and don't crowd it with other circular motifs — one round shape per wall is plenty. As a canvas the matte surface softens the dark centre and mutes reflections.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the word 'scorpio' printed on the artwork?

Yes. The sign name sits in small lowercase type beneath the constellation, inside the circle. It's deliberately understated rather than a headline, so from a couple of metres away you mainly read the star pattern and the ring. Up close the lettering gives it the feel of a page from an old star atlas.

Will it look too dark on a pale wall?

No — the off-white border around the circle gives the dark disc somewhere to breathe, so it reads as a clean square rather than a black hole. On chalky off-white or light grey walls it sits forward and stays crisp. On deep inky walls the effect flips and it feels more cocooning and layered.

Can I build a set with other zodiac signs?

Yes, and it's a common way to buy it. Two or three signs for a household work better than all twelve, which starts to look like a chart on the wall. Space them evenly with the same size and frame colour, and keep the wall around them plain so the circles don't compete.
