Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

In most rooms, no. The huge amount of soft off-white paper around the ink lines keeps it feeling gentle rather than graphic. Against a chalky white or warm off-white wall, the sketch reads as a small, confident focal point rather than a hard black shape. If your walls are already very cool and clinical, warm the room with timber or linen nearby.

It reads as a general seated dog rather than a specific breed — the linework is loose and gestural, so features aren't pinned down. That makes it a good pick if you love dogs generally, or if you want a piece that nods to a much-loved pet without needing to be an exact likeness.

Give it room. Because so much of the piece is empty paper, hanging it too close to shelves, other frames or busy furniture will crowd the composition. Aim for a decent margin of clear wall on both sides — roughly a hand's width beyond the frame — and it will feel considered rather than squeezed in.
