All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's part of the artwork — Jean Bernard drew on warm cream paper, and we've kept that tone in the reproduction. It reads slightly creamier than bright white, which is why it sits so easily against painted or plaster walls. If you want a sharper look, an oak or black frame lifts the contrast.

Yes. The drawing is fairly tight in the original, so smaller sizes actually hold the texture better than oversized ones. We'd suggest somewhere in the small to medium range — large enough to see the whiskers and shading from a sofa, small enough to keep the delicate feel.

The cat's head turns to the right of the frame, with its gaze lowered and slightly forward. That makes it sit well on a left-hand side of a console or desk, where its eye-line draws you into the room rather than off the edge of the wall.
