Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The piece reads as graphic rather than gloomy because the canopies sit on a bright off-white ground with plenty of negative space. On a pale plaster or off-white wall it feels modern and calm, more like a drawing than a heavy painting. If your room is already dark, hang it where natural light can hit it during the day.

Yes — going larger actually helps. At small sizes the canopies can read as solid black shapes, but at large or statement size you start to see the individual branches and the white gaps between them, which is where the piece earns its place. Hang it where you can step back at least a metre and a half.

It works well with warm pale oak, walnut and natural linen. The black-and-white palette is neutral, so it doesn't fight warm timber or soft textiles. Keep the surrounding wall pale and the nearby surfaces edited, and the print will feel calm rather than stark.
