    About This Art

From the doorway, the vertical reads clean. Up close, not polite. The dune grass is loose and scrubby, the marsh water sits heavy, and the Atlantic gives the eye somewhere to rest.

A room with this on the wall feels more considered. It brings outdoor colour — sandy yellows, deep greens, sea blue — into rooms that would otherwise default to brown and grey.

Best hung at eye level above a console, sideboard or writing desk in a study, hallway or den. Vertical proportion suits narrow walls between doors or windows.

Pair with oak or walnut timber, tan leather, linen or tweed, brass fittings, and stoneware in sand and clay tones. Dark green or off-white walls let it sing.

Don't crowd it with other busy landscapes — let it lead. Printed on premium fine-art paper for depth and longevity.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the clubhouse recognisable as Shinnecock's, or is it stylised?

It's recognisable. The white shingled clubhouse on the bluff is the signature Shinnecock view — same proportions and roofline you'd see from the back nine. The treatment is painterly rather than photographic, so it reads as a travel poster rather than a literal record, but anyone who knows the course will clock it immediately.

Will the sandy yellow dune grass clash with cool grey or blue rooms?

It can. The dominant colour is a warm sandy yellow-green, which sits awkwardly next to cool greys and pastel blues. It's happier with warm neutrals, off-white, oak, tan leather and deep green walls. The washed sea blue in the upper third does give cooler rooms a foothold, but the print leads warm.

Does the text at the bottom read as a poster or as a label?

It reads as a poster. 'SHINNECOCK HILLS GC' and 'SOUTHAMPTON, NY' sit cleanly in white at the foot of the image, in a restrained sans-serif. It looks like a vintage-style travel poster rather than a printed photo caption, and it doesn't crowd the landscape above it.
