    Most travel prints behave. This one picks a side. It hands the wall over to the Dolomites — pale rock, fresh snow and a tiny village busy with skiers — and lets a single warm patch of sky do the heavy lifting. The room reads taller, calmer and a little more alpine. Best on a hallway wall or above a study desk, where the vertical pull of the peaks has room to breathe. It also works above a bed if the headboard is plain. Pair with pale oak, cream linen, wool throws and a stoneware lamp base. Skip anything too tropical, neon, or another big mountain scene nearby — one peak per wall is plenty. The canvas adds a soft, slightly matte texture that suits the snowy palette.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Does the poster include the 'Cortina d'Ampezzo' and 'Italy' text shown in the image?

    Yes. The wording 'Cortina d'Ampezzo' and 'Italy' sits across the lower third of the print as part of the design. It's the only text on the piece and reads cleanly in white against the snow.

    Is the palette cool enough to clash with warm terracotta or ochre rooms?

    It can. The print runs cool — soft blue, slate and stone — with only a small warm patch of sky. In a strongly warm room (terracotta, ochre, deep red) it will read as a cooler counterpoint rather than blending in. Best in cooler or neutral schemes.

    Will the tall portrait shape work above a sofa or sideboard?

    It can, but it's happier on a narrower wall — a hallway, between windows or above a desk — where the vertical pull matches the shape of the wall. Above a wide sofa, it tends to look stranded unless paired with a second print.
