Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Some of it will, but the fine barbs and ridges are the point here, so bigger is better. At large or statement size you can see the sweep of the stem and the tiny grooves across each side. Small sizes still work as part of a set, but the surface detail flattens out from a few steps back.

It holds up better than you might think. The warm brown shadows along the stem give it enough depth to stay visible in strong daylight. In a very bright south-facing room, hang it on a side wall rather than directly opposite the window so the light rakes across it and the ridges keep their shadow.

No. The single feather curves off the top edge, so it reads as a complete composition on its own and makes a good solo piece above a bed or sofa. If you do want a pair, choose a second tall piece with the same sandy beige tones and a single simple form, and leave a generous gap between them.
