Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The background sits between warm beige and a very washed sage — closer to grey-green than a true green. Against a cream or off-white wall it reads as a gentle, dusty green. Against a cool grey wall it can lean more neutral. It won't clash with most warm neutral or pale earthy paint colours.

It works well solo at a medium size above a standard double or king bed, especially against a warm off-white or plaster wall. If your bedroom is large or has a tall headboard, size up so it doesn't feel marooned. Otherwise it holds the wall on its own without needing flanking pieces.

The cat is painted in loose, painterly brushwork rather than sharp detail, so from a distance you'll read the silhouette and warm tones rather than fine fur or features. If you want a piece you can identify clearly from a doorway, a more graphic cat illustration will suit you better than this one.
