    About This Art

Try it above the sideboard; the hard-edged blocks will do the editing. Four flat panels of soft pink, pale blue, navy and dark brown, with two leaf shapes cut out in white and mustard. The room stops feeling half-finished. Colours that were scattered around in cushions and ceramics suddenly look like a plan. Hang it in a living room or study, above a sideboard, console or low bookcase, and keep the shelf beneath it sparse. Plain linen, pale wood, walnut and matt black metal all sit well with it. Stoneware in cream or clay picks up the mustard. What not to do: don't set it against patterned wallpaper or crowd it with other bold colour pieces — the shapes need clear wall to read properly. As a canvas the brushed texture in the navy and dark brown blocks comes through, softening the grid slightly.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the blue and mustard fight with a grey sofa?

No. Grey sits happily under this palette because the print already carries its own soft grey-blue block at the top. The mustard leaf shape reads as the warm note and the navy gives depth, so a grey sofa ends up looking deliberate rather than flat. Keep cushions plain in cream or a matching mustard.

Does it need to go up in a pair to work?

It works better on its own. The four blocks already behave like a small grid, so a second matching piece next to it can look repetitive. If you want more than one thing on the wall, choose something quieter and smaller in cream, grey or plain black and white and give it space.

Is the dark brown block too heavy for a small room?

It reads as a grounding corner rather than a black hole, and the soft pink and pale blue above lift it. In a small room, hang it where daylight reaches part of the wall and keep the wall colour light. Going one size down also stops the dark block dominating.
