    About This Art

'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of warm off-white. This is a very quiet piece — one soft brown line, drawn loosely, curling down a warm cream ground with the paper texture still showing through. Hang it where the room already does most of the work: above a bed, a low console or at the end of a calm hallway. It gives the wall a shape without adding noise, which is exactly what busy rooms need most. Pair it with pale oak, linen, bouclé and matt ceramics. Add another small line study or soft neutral abstract to build a gentle pairing. Skip it if you want colour, drama, or a wall that announces itself — this piece is happy to whisper.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will this look too plain above a bed?

Only if the room around it is also very plain. Layered bedding, a soft throw, a stoneware lamp and a small vase all give the piece something to sit against. The line adds shape without noise, which is usually what a bedroom wall needs — not more colour, just a bit of movement to stop the wall feeling flat.

Does it work as a single piece or should I pair it?

Both work. On its own above a slim console or bed, it acts as a quiet anchor with plenty of breathing room. If you'd rather pair it, keep the companion equally soft — another line study, a small neutral abstract or a pale botanical. Avoid anything bold, graphic or high-contrast, as it will pull attention off this piece.

Is the soft brown line strong enough to read from across the room?

The line is deliberately quiet, so from a distance it reads more as a gesture than a bold graphic. That suits calm bedrooms and hallways where you want the wall to breathe. If you want something you can see clearly from across a large open-plan living room, this probably isn't the right piece — look for higher contrast.
