Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It holds up better than you'd expect. The warm sandy tones in the cat and the pale sage block behind give it just enough contrast against a cream wall. If your wall is very bright white, a pale oak or warm brown frame helps anchor it. On a chalky cream or soft sage wall it sits in beautifully.

It's a good nursery choice precisely because it doesn't read as babyish. The brushwork and muted palette feel grown-up, so it earns its place beyond the early years and works in an older child's bedroom or a guest room later on. Pair it with soft wood, bouclé and linen rather than primary colours.

Aim for a print width around two-thirds of the furniture below. Because the brushwork is loose and the palette quiet, going slightly larger than you'd instinctively pick tends to look better than going smaller — a too-small print can feel lost against the soft background.
