    About This Art

For a bedroom full of curves, this cat portrait brings the calm. Cream, tan and soft pink sit against pale sage in loose brushwork — quiet, sunlit, gently grown-up. Hang it above a low bed, a small reading chair or a chest of drawers and the whole corner softens. It loves pale oak, cream linen, bouclé and a stoneware lamp in oat or clay. Skip it if you want a sharp, graphic statement piece — this one whispers rather than shouts, and it sits best on a calmer wall colour like off-white, soft clay or the palest sage. Printed on premium fine-art paper; available unframed or framed in real wood.

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this too soft to hold a wall on its own?

On a busy wall, yes — but on a calm one it holds beautifully. The cat is centred and clearly defined, and the dusty pink and pale sage blocks give it real structure. Hung above a chest, console or low bed, it reads as a quiet focal point rather than fading into the wall.

Will the cream and pink clash with cool grey walls?

It can feel a little off against true cool greys and chrome — the warmth in the cream and dusty pink wants something kinder around it. It sits much better against off-white, soft clay, warm beige or the palest sage. If your room is cool-grey, this isn't the easiest match.

Does the cat have to be a Birman to suit my home?

Not at all. The cream-and-tan colouring reads as a soft, light-coated cat — Birman, Ragdoll, Siamese mix or simply a pale moggy. Buyers tend to choose it for the painterly feel and the calm palette rather than the exact breed, and it works as a general cat-lover piece.
