About This Art
Even the plaster in here starts looking expensive next to soft cream. A slow, rising swirl of inky grey lifts through a pale, cloudy background, with tiny plum flecks doing the quiet work. The room reads calmer and more considered the moment it goes up — the walls feel deeper, the neutrals feel intentional, the corners feel less flat. Hang it above a low sideboard, at the head of a bed, or on a narrow wall in a hallway where the eye needs somewhere to land. It pairs well with pale oak, dark walnut, linen, bouclé and stoneware. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Is this actually grey, or does it read more beige?
The background is a warm off-white cream, so the overall feel is softer than a pure cool grey. The darks in the swirl are proper charcoal and near-black, and the tiny flecks pull very slightly dusty plum. On a warm off-white wall it reads calm and neutral; on a cool white wall the greys come forward more.
Will it look too moody in a small room?
The dark shapes only cover part of the picture — most of the piece is soft cream — so it doesn't drop the light in a room the way a fully dark abstract would. In a small bedroom or study it reads as a calm anchor rather than a heavy one, especially with a warm bedside or table lamp nearby.
Does the composition need to hang vertically, or would it work on its side?
It's designed as a portrait piece — the swirl lifts upward, and rotating it loses that energy. If you have a landscape wall to fill, this isn't the right shape. For a tall narrow wall, above a bed, or above a low sideboard, the vertical lift is exactly what makes it work.
