    About This Art

Test it this way: if the kitchen feels safe, size up. This is a single strawberry rendered in the deep blue and soft white of a cyanotype photogram, calm and graphic all at once. On the wall, it brings a slice of cool colour to a room that leans neutral, and gives the eye one clear thing to land on. Hang it above a console, a small sideboard, a breakfast nook or a study desk, at eye level. It pairs happily with pale oak, white marble, linen and cream ceramics. Avoid stacking it next to loud florals or busy tiled walls — this piece works best when it has a bit of quiet around it.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the deep blue work in a warm-toned kitchen?

It can, but the cooler the surroundings the better it sings. If your kitchen leans warm — terracotta tiles, mustard walls, lots of brass and warm oak — the deep blue will feel like a hard contrast rather than a calm accent. It's happiest against off-white, pale grey, chalky plaster or pale oak.

How big should I go above a kitchen counter?

A medium size usually reads best. You want the strawberry to sit as one clear shape on the wall, not fight the run of cabinets or the worktop clutter. Aim for something roughly two-thirds the width of the wall space you're filling, hung at standing eye level.

Does this pair with other botanical prints?

Yes, as long as they're quiet. It sits happily beside other cyanotypes, simple line-drawn leaves, or soft black-and-white photograms. Avoid pairing it with brightly painted florals or warm-toned watercolours — the blue is graphic and cool, and it wants companions in the same register.
