How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep red feel too loud in a small kitchen?
It's loud on purpose, but the creamy off-white background carries a lot of the image, so it reads brighter than heavy. In a small kitchen, hang it on a wall that already gets good daylight and keep the surrounding shelves fairly clear so the colour has room to land.
Does the portrait shape suit a wall above a counter or coffee station?
Yes — the vertical format is ideal for narrow stretches of wall above a coffee station, drinks trolley or small console. Aim for the centre of the print at standing eye-level if you'll be using it on your feet, and leave roughly a hand's width of clear wall around the frame.
What kind of kitchen does this not suit?
A very calm, pared-back kitchen built around soft neutrals and quiet botanicals will find this print a bit much. It's at its best in colourful, glam or maximalist rooms where the cabinetry, glassware or tiles already lean into a bit of personality.
