    About This Art

Try it above the sideboard; the upright portrait will do the editing. A border terrier in a flat cap, tan coat and black scarf, painted with real fur texture and a half-smudged soda bottle in one paw. The wit is in the details, not the joke.

Drop this on a wall and the room gets a personality. The soft grey background keeps things calm, while the mustard coat and the flash of red on the bottle bring just enough colour to wake a quiet corner.

It sits well above a sideboard, in a hallway, in a snug, or beside a coffee machine in a kitchen. Eye-level is best — this dog wants to be looked at directly.

Pair with warm woods, tan leather, brass, and one deep colour like green or oxblood somewhere in the room.

Don't crowd it with other character prints or it tips into theme-park territory. Printed on premium fine-art paper.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the Coca-Cola label clear or stylised?

The bottle is painted loosely and the label text is intentionally smudged and partial — you can read it as Coca-Cola at a glance, but the lettering is painterly rather than crisp. That keeps the piece feeling like art rather than branded merchandise, which matters if you want it to sit in a living room or snug.

Will the yellow coat clash with a warm-toned room?

The coat is a muted mustard-tan rather than a bright yellow, sitting next to a soft grey background. It reads as warm without shouting. It plays nicely with oak, terracotta and warm brown leather, and it lifts a cool grey or off-white wall rather than fighting it.

Does this work for a child's room or is it more grown-up?

It leans grown-up. The flat cap, scarf and bottle give it a cheeky barfly character that suits a snug, study, hallway or kitchen rather than a nursery. If you want a dog print for a child's room, look for softer, brighter character work instead.
