    About This Art

In the 1960s, this would have felt radical. It still does. A mustard circle sits against cream, a soft pink ribbon curls down the right, and a black zigzag bites in from below. Hung on a plain wall, it gives a flat room a clear focal point and pulls warmth out of the terracotta and pink without adding clutter. It works above a sideboard, in a hallway, or between two windows where the shapes get room to breathe. Pair it with warm wood, tan leather and a couple of simple ceramics. Don't crowd it with busy pattern, small framed photos or another strong graphic piece on the same wall — the composition needs quiet either side. Stretched over a wooden frame as a canvas, ready to hang straight from the box.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the terracotta side look off-balance if I hang it on its own?

No — the weight is intentional. The cream half carries the mustard circle, and the terracotta panel balances it on the right. Hung centred on a plain wall it reads as one settled composition. If it sits next to a doorway or window, keep the terracotta edge on the open side so the shapes have space to run into.

How big should I go for a hallway wall?

Go large. The design is only four or five shapes, so a bigger size lets the wavy pink band and the black zigzag stay clearly readable as you walk past. In a narrow hallway, aim for a piece that fills roughly two thirds of the wall height between skirting and picture height, with clear space either side.

Does the soft pink limit what colours I can use in the room?

Less than you'd think. The pink is muted and sits between the cream and terracotta, so it behaves like a warm mid-tone rather than a statement colour. It gets on well with tan leather, warm wood, oatmeal, rust and black. It's cool blues and silvery greys that fight it, so keep those to small accents.
