    About This Art

Start with the mustard yellow; it'll wake every warm timber surface around it. Two big sunflowers carry the whole picture, and the loose brushwork behind them keeps everything soft rather than shouty. Hang it and a plain wall stops feeling like a gap. It gives a quiet room one clear point of warmth, and the browns and greys in the background do the work of tying it back to your furniture. Best above a sideboard, a dining table or a small desk, at eye level so the flowers sit where you look. Pair it with warm wood, linen, aged leather and simple stoneware. Don't put it next to cool grey-blue schemes or crisp chrome and glass — the warmth goes flat. Printed on premium fine-art paper.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the yellow bright enough to read from across a room?

Yes. The two sunflowers are the brightest thing in the picture and sit against warm greys and browns, so they hold their own from three or four metres. If your wall is dark, the yellow will look stronger again; on a very warm yellow wall, choose a slightly larger size so the flowers stay distinct.

Will the loose brushwork still look intentional at larger sizes?

It will. The paint was applied quickly and thickly, so at larger sizes you see more of that texture rather than less detail. Stand a little further back and the sunflowers pull together. If you prefer the marks to read as a whole picture, stay in the medium range and hang at eye level.

Does it need other artwork around it, or does it work on its own?

It works well on its own, because the two flowers give a wall a single clear focal point. If you'd rather build a small group, keep the companions quieter — soft painted landscapes or simple botanicals in cream, olive and brown — and let this be the largest and warmest piece in the set.
