Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can if the wall is bright white and lit hard. On chalky off-white, warm cream or pale sage walls it reads better, because the soft beige and peach in the artwork have something to push against. If your wall is very pale, a slim oak or warm wood frame gives the piece a clearer edge and stops it floating.

Yes. The cat sits in profile and the silhouette is the strongest shape in the composition, so it reads as a cat from a few metres away. Up close the brushwork loosens and the palette does more of the work, which is why it feels painterly rather than cartoonish.

It can, but it will quieten down rather than pop. Against deep green or navy walls the soft beige and peach feel even gentler, almost ghostly. If you want the cat to feel more present in a saturated room, hang it in a darker wood or black frame to give the edges more definition.
