About This Art
Here's the trick: let the tiger cut through all that linen. This is a painterly conservatory scene in warm orange, mustard, sage and deep green, with a woman at the window and a tiger resting on a checkerboard floor. On the wall it slows a room down. The eye travels from the figure to the leaves to the cat, and the room follows. Hang it above a low sofa, a bed, or a long sideboard where the full height can breathe. It loves rattan, cane, linen, terracotta pots and warm timber floors. Avoid hanging it over busy patterned wallpaper or directly above a tiled checker floor, where two grids start to fight.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Is the tiger going to feel too intense for a calm room?
The tiger reads more dreamlike than fierce. It's lying down, painted in soft warm orange against muted sage and cream, with no bared teeth or action. The mood is quiet companionship, not threat. In a calm room it feels more like a storybook moment than a wildlife piece, and it sits comfortably above a sofa or bed without raising the energy of the room.
Will the checkerboard floor clash with patterned rugs or tiles?
The checkerboard sits in the bottom third and reads as warm cream and deep green, not stark black and white. It softens any nearby pattern rather than fighting it. Pair it with plain rugs, woven jute or simple stripes. Avoid sitting it directly above a busy chequered tile floor or a strong geometric rug, as two grids in one eyeline can feel restless.
What size works best for this composition?
Go large. The scene has a tall conservatory window, two big plants and a long tiger across the floor, so a generous portrait size lets each part breathe. At smaller sizes the tiger and figure shrink into one busy block. Aim for a piece that fills most of the wall above a sofa, bed or console, with a little breathing room on either side.
