    About This Art

Nothing in this deep green and gold palette whispers, even when the living room does. Two small swimmers drift through dark water lit by a single shaft of sun — a painterly scene with real depth.

What it does to a room: it pulls the eye in, slows the pace, and gives a quiet wall something to look at. The green sits warm, not cold, so it lifts a space rather than chills it.

Hang it above a low sofa, a sideboard, or in a bedroom across from the window. Landscape format means it wants a bit of horizontal wall to breathe.

Pairs well with oak or walnut timber, cream or soft white walls, bouclé and linen upholstery, aged brass, and a few warm ceramics. Think calm, lived-in rooms.

Don't try to match it with bright primaries or competing seascapes — let it be the centre of attention. Stretched over a wooden frame, ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Does the deep green dominate, or does the sunlit area balance it out?

The deep green covers most of the surface, but the bright shaft of sun running down the middle gives the eye a clear path in. In a room with warm whites and natural light, the piece reads balanced rather than heavy — the sunlit strip lifts the rest.

Will the swimmers still read clearly at smaller sizes?

The figures are small in the composition by design, so at smaller sizes they read more as quiet accents than as the main event. If you want the swimmers to clearly anchor the piece from across the room, size up — large or statement gives them proper presence.

Does it need a wide wall, or will it work in a narrower spot?

It's landscape format and the water spreads to the edges, so it wants a bit of breathing room either side. A wall around 120cm or wider lets it sit properly. In a tight alcove it can feel cramped — better above a sofa, sideboard, or low chest with space to either side.
