Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The watercolour treatment is gentle rather than cartoonish, so it tends to carry through to a toddler and small-child bedroom well. Pair it with a low bookshelf, soft botanicals or a fabric garland and it reads as a sweet illustration, not strictly a baby item. Many parents keep it on the wall until age six or seven.

The crown has soft pinks and peaches, so it leans gently feminine, but the elephant itself and the sage and cream around it keep things calm rather than overtly pink. In a room with pale oak, cream linen and sage accents, it sits comfortably as a gender-soft piece rather than a strongly girls' one.

A medium portrait size usually sits best — wide enough to anchor the wall above the cot without crowding it, and tall enough to read from across the room. If your cot sits against a wider wall, consider pairing the medium with a smaller botanical sprig on either side.
