    About This Art

Sage walls have a habit of going flat by mid-afternoon. Hang this on one and the rust does the arguing for you. The green in the paint finds the green in the picture, then the terracotta cuts across it and the whole wall wakes up. Put it on the landing, where the stairs turn and the wall is too narrow for anything wide. At 40cm across and around 80cm tall it fills that strip without crowding the banister. Keep the floor plain. Sisal or a bare board works, a patterned runner does not. Blush pink is quiet enough to sit near a bathroom door without shouting, and the cream dots catch whatever daylight the stairwell lets through. One thing on that wall. Nothing else. On canvas it hangs without glass, so stairwell light never bounces off it.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the rust clash with a sage green wall?

It does the opposite. The sage in the picture matches most mid-green paints closely, so the wall and the artwork share a colour, and the rust then sits as the one warm note against both. Very yellow or minty greens are the ones to test first. Against those the terracotta can look orange, so hold a sample against the wall before you commit.

How big should I go on a narrow stairwell wall?

Go larger than feels natural. A stairwell wall is viewed from a distance and often from below, so a small tall picture reads as a stripe. Aim for at least 40cm wide and 80cm tall on a wall of 50cm or more, leaving a hand's width clear on each side. On a half-landing wall you can go bigger again, as long as the bottom edge clears the banister.

Does the pink make it too sweet for a grown-up room?

The blush here is closer to plaster than to sugar, and it sits beside deep plum and rust, which keep it grounded. In a bedroom with oatmeal linen and pale wood it reads warm rather than girly. Pair it with a dark green or brown wool throw and the pink pulls back further. What tips it sweet is more pink around it, so avoid rose bedding or blush cushions nearby.
