    About This Art

Clear the hallway first. This one needs a bare wall from skirting to ceiling, so the coat hooks go elsewhere and the shelf of real books stays in another room. Two bookcases in one corridor is a joke told twice. Paint the wall off-white or a soft putty, never tan, because the camel ground wants to sit against something paler than itself. Then let the red do the talking. No runner in a competing pattern, no row of family photos beside it, one plain oak bench underneath if you need somewhere to sit. Between two windows on a landing it works the same way, hung at eye level with nothing above or below. Keep the lamps warm and the walls empty. On fine-art paper the flat colour stays matt, which suits the painted look.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the red be too much in a small hallway?

Not if the wall behind it is pale. The red sits in narrow blocks on a camel ground, so from the doorway it reads as stripes rather than a solid slab of colour. Trouble only starts if the hallway is painted tan, beige or a warm brown, because the ground then disappears and the red floats. Off-white or putty paint keeps it in balance.

How tall does the wall need to be?

At the large tier the piece is roughly twice as tall as it is wide, so allow at least 1.2m of clear height with about 20cm above and below. A standard 2.4m ceiling gives plenty of room. Width matters less, a wall of 50cm will take it, which is why it suits the gap beside a staircase or between two windows.

Does it work in a room that already has bookcases?

It works better where there are none. Next to real shelves it becomes a picture of the thing beside it and loses its point. Put it in the hallway, on the landing or in a study with a plain desk and closed storage, and it stands in for the library without adding another piece of furniture. One jug of red flowers nearby is enough company.
