    About This Art

Some bird prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. Three cranes climb across a deep teal sky, with cream feathers, black wing tips and red crowns picked out against gold cloud scrolls and stylised waves.

Put it up and the room reads quieter and more considered straight away. The teal pulls the eye, the gold detailing catches lamp light, and the cranes give the wall a clear focal point without crowding anything else.

It works best as the main piece on a bedroom wall above the bed, in a hallway that needs a proper anchor, or in a dining room behind the table. Eye level, on a plain wall, with a bit of breathing room around it.

Pairs well with dark wood, brass, linen, and a single ceramic lamp. A deep green or oxblood velvet chair near it looks particularly good.

Don't crowd it with other busy prints — let the canvas carry the wall on its own.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

How dark is the background in real life?

The background reads as a rich deep teal — closer to a dark inky green-blue than a true navy. It looks deeper in low light and shows more of the green undertones in daylight. On a pale wall it reads as a strong block of colour; on a darker painted wall it blends in more and the cream and gold cranes do the heavy lifting.

Will it work if my room already has a lot of pattern?

Probably not. The piece is busy enough on its own — cranes, clouds, blossom and waves all in one composition. It's at its best on a fairly plain wall, with simple bedding or a clean dining table in front of it. If your room already has patterned wallpaper or busy textiles, this one will fight for attention.

Is it better hung portrait above a bed, or in a hallway?

Both work, but above a bed gives it the most impact — the upward movement of the cranes reads beautifully when you're looking up at it. In a hallway, hang it at the end of a run so it's the thing you walk towards. Avoid sticking it on a short side wall where you can't step back from it.
