    About This Art

Most still life prints behave. This one picks a side. Three cups sit one above the other, and the bright red one in the middle does all the talking against soft peach. Put it up and a plain kitchen wall suddenly has a point of view — the sort of wall you notice while the kettle boils. It works above a counter, in a breakfast nook, beside a coffee station, or in a narrow bit of wall between cupboards. Keep the company simple: pale wood, off-white or clay-painted units, stoneware and a linen tea towel. Don't crowd it with busy patterns, fussy script signs or a row of small novelty kitchen pictures — the flat shapes need clear space to land. As a canvas the edges sit flush to the wall, which suits a busy kitchen.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the red too strong for a mostly neutral kitchen?

It reads as one clear accent rather than a colour scheme. Most of the picture is soft peach, so the bright red cup sits in the middle like a single bold detail. In an off-white or pale wood kitchen it gives you a focal point without asking you to change anything else. Pick up the red once elsewhere, in a mug or a tea towel, and it ties in.

Will it look odd next to a kettle or coffee machine?

No — that's the spot it's made for. The cups are stylised, not photographic, so it doesn't compete with the real kit on your worktop. Keep about 40cm between the bottom edge and the surface so steam and splashes stay clear, and leave the wall either side fairly empty so the stacked shapes stay easy to read.

Does it work outside the kitchen?

Yes. The tall shape and flat shapes suit a home office coffee shelf, a dining nook, or the narrow wall in a hallway near a kitchen door. It's less at home in bedrooms, where the subject feels a bit brisk. Anywhere you'd naturally have a cup in your hand is a safe bet.
