    About This Art

Give this the sideboard. A long dining room sideboard leaves a strip of wall above it that most pictures cannot fill, and this one does, end to end. Hang it so the bottom edge sits a hand above the top of the cupboard. The olive green settles against a plain white wall. Orange does the cheering up. Painted pine or old oak underneath, a couple of stoneware jugs at one end, and the wall looks finished rather than furnished. It earns its keep from September through to the first frost, then most people find they leave it up anyway. Green wallpaper fights it. Keep the wall plain. On premium fine-art paper, a brown wood frame picks up the stalks and suits the folk feel.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange fight with a red-toned kitchen?

It depends on the red. Against terracotta tiles or brick the orange reads as a cousin and the two sit happily together. Against a true cherry or pillar-box red the pumpkins start to look muddy, and the olive green loses its calm. If your kitchen leans that way, hang it in the dining room or hallway instead, where a plain wall gives it room.

Is it too seasonal to leave up all year?

Most people hang it in September and then forget to take it down, which tells you something. The olive green and cream do most of the work and neither belongs to any month. In spring it reads as a folk vegetable print rather than an autumn one. If you like a rotation, swap it with a lighter botanical in May and bring it back with the first cold evening.

Does the olive green work with grey kitchen cabinets?

Warm greys, the ones with a hint of brown or green in them, take it well and the orange lifts them. Cool blue-greys are harder. The olive turns slightly khaki beside them and the pairing looks accidental. A quick test is to hold a piece of cream card against the cabinet door. If the card looks warm and friendly, the print will too.
