    About This Art

Most kitchens have plenty of white and not much warmth. Cupboard doors, tiles, a steel tap, all of it clean and none of it friendly. What the room lacks is a colour that says October. The soft orange here does that against olive green, and the flowered border stops it reading as a supermarket poster. Hang it on the wall beside the table, level with a seated eye line, where you see it over breakfast. Cream walls suit it. So does bare brick. Keep a wooden chopping board or a brown jug nearby and the orange finds its match. Change nothing else and the kitchen feels like someone lives in it. On canvas the olive ground looks painted rather than printed.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the orange clash with a red or terracotta kitchen?

It can. The orange here is soft and leans peach, so it sits fine next to terracotta floor tiles or a brown range cooker. A bright red kitchen is harder, because the two warm colours compete and neither wins. In that case hang it in the hallway or dining room instead, where cream or off-white walls give the orange room to work.

Is this only for autumn, or can I leave it up all year?

Leave it up. The olive green takes up more of the picture than the orange, and olive reads as a garden colour in spring and summer as much as a harvest colour in October. The flowered border helps too. Most people who buy it for autumn find it still looks right in May next to a jug of tulips.

What size works on the wall beside a kitchen table?

Medium, around 40 to 60cm wide, suits most kitchen walls. At that size the three pumpkins read clearly from across the room and the border stays in proportion. Go larger only if the wall is over a metre wide and clear of shelves. Hang it at seated eye level, so you look at it over breakfast rather than up at it.
