Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads as one flat block rather than scattered colour, which is easier to live with than you would expect. In a small room, keep the surrounding wall bare and avoid repeating red in cushions or throws. One strong piece plus plain textures looks deliberate; red in three places starts to feel restless.

No. It works best on its own, with clear wall on both sides. If you do want a cluster, keep it to two or three pieces and make the companions quiet — simple line drawings or plain abstracts in cream, off-white and black. Let this one sit centre and be the largest.

Off-white, chalky pale grey and soft clay all let the red do its job. Deep green or charcoal walls also work if the room has decent light. Avoid pink, burgundy or terracotta walls, as the red loses its snap and the cream horses stop standing out.
