    About This Art

Most rooms have nothing on the wall that makes anyone smile. Plants, a mirror, something calm over the sofa, and not one bit of wit. That is the gap these three fill. Hang them in the hallway and every visitor gets a grin before their coat is off. The near-black ground does more than you expect. Against a chalky white wall it reads as a solid dark block, so the wall feels finished rather than decorated. Those cream ghosts stay soft. Painted brick, a black front door, a striped runner, all of it plays along. In a child's bedroom the joke lands even better, and it still holds up in January when the pumpkins are long gone. Keep it at eye level. Nobody should have to look up to find a ghost. On canvas the thick paint marks read as they should, and it arrives ready to hang.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark background make a small hallway feel darker?

Less than you would think. The ground is a brushy near-black rather than a flat void, and the cream figures bounce light back at you. On a white or off-white wall it reads as one crisp block, which tidies a narrow hallway rather than closing it in. Keep the rest of the wall empty and let daylight from the door reach it if you can.

Is it too spooky for a young child's bedroom?

No. The ghosts are round, soft-edged and clearly homemade, closer to a dressing-up sheet than anything from a film. Children tend to find them funny rather than frightening. Hang it slightly lower than adult eye level so a child sees it comfortably from the bed, and pair it with cream bedding and one striped blanket so the black stays friendly.

What size suits three small figures?

Medium is the sweet spot. Around 60 to 80cm wide, each ghost is roughly hand-sized and the trio reads from across a room without the dark ground taking over. Go smaller and it becomes a shelf piece, which works on a kitchen ledge. Go much larger and the black starts to dominate anything but a big, bright living room.
