    Too much beige. Not enough pale turquoise. This fixes that. A wall of cream and oat needs one cool, unexpected note, and this gives you water, mountain haze and a tiger walking straight towards you. Hung up, the room stops being safe. Eyes go to the water first, then the fur, then the little white villa on the left. Put it above a low sofa, a long sideboard or on a study wall where you sit and look at it properly. It sits happily with pale linen, travertine, chrome and cream plaster walls, plus one warm timber piece to stop it feeling clinical. Don't crowd it with other animal pictures or busy patterned wallpaper — it needs quiet either side. As a stretched canvas the surface reads as a painting, which suits the loose brushwork in the splash.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the pale blue water look washed out on a white wall?

    No — the water is a touch deeper and greener than most white paints, so it still separates. If your walls are bright brilliant white, a slim black frame or a framed canvas edge gives it a firm outline. On soft grey or cream walls it reads well with no help at all.

    How wide a wall does it need?

    Give it at least 120cm of clear wall so the pool can stretch out. Above a two- or three-seater sofa is ideal, or a long sideboard. On a narrow wall the villa on the left and the mountains behind get squeezed, and the picture loses the sense of open water that makes it work.

    Is the tiger too intense for a bedroom?

    It's calmer than it sounds. The tiger is mid-water, not snarling, and the overall tone is cool and hazy rather than aggressive. Above a bed it works if you keep bedding pale and the rest of the room quiet. If you want a wall you never really look at, choose something softer.
