Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It can. The background is a cool, dusty blue, so it sits best against off-white, pale grey, or other cool-leaning walls. In a kitchen built around deep reds, terracotta, or warm browns, the blue will feel stranded rather than tied in. A cooler or more neutral wall behind it is the safe call.

Yes. The big pale pink TOAST headline and the strong black silhouette of the cat are designed to read at a glance, even from the far end of a kitchen or hallway. The joke lands quickly, which is part of why it works as a single statement piece rather than something for a busy gallery wall.

It depends on tone. The illustration is flat-colour and slightly cartoonish but the cat itself is drawn quite seriously, which keeps it from tipping into nursery territory. In a grown-up kitchen with light oak, stoneware and plain walls it reads as wit rather than a kids' print. In a very formal room it will look out of place.
