    A living room this pared back can take one serious warm brown. The torn edges do the work a cushion or a rug can't — they add texture to a flat wall without adding pattern, and the single black fern gives the whole thing a spine. Hang it above a low sideboard or on the wall between two windows, where the vertical shape has room to run.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the brown and clay tones clash with pink-toned walls?

    They can compete. The clay and salmon shapes already sit close to pink, so a pink wall flattens them. Off-white, warm white, putty, soft grey-green or a deeper olive all give the shapes room to read. If your walls are pink, hang it on the least pink wall in the room or move it to a hallway.

    Is the black leaf too heavy for a quiet room?

    It is the loudest part, but it works in its favour. The black fern reads as one clean graphic line against all the soft torn edges, so a calm room gets structure rather than noise. In a very pared-back space it stops the piece looking purely decorative and gives the eye somewhere to land.

    What size works best in a narrow space like a hallway?

    Go large rather than small. The composition is dense and full of small torn pieces, so at a modest size the shapes blur together and the newsprint layer disappears. On a hallway wall around 80cm wide, a tall large size fills the height properly and you can still read the collage as you pass.
