Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The blue is soft and slightly grey rather than icy, so it sits well next to warm pale oak, rattan and cream linen. In a strongly terracotta or ochre room it will feel cooler and more contrasting, so try it on a paler wall or alongside white-painted woodwork to keep the balance gentle.

Framed under acrylic glazing it copes well with everyday bathroom humidity, especially on a wall away from direct splashes. For a steamy ensuite with no window, hang it on the driest wall and leave a small gap from the frame back to the wall so air can move behind it.

A single medium portrait can look a touch narrow centred above a king bed. Either size up to a large portrait, or use it as one of a pair flanking the headboard. Above a single or double bed, a medium portrait sits comfortably on its own.
