    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Does the word MALDIVES sit inside the frame or below it?

    The lettering is part of the artwork itself, printed on a cream border below the beach scene. It reads as a vintage travel poster, so the text is meant to be visible. If you'd rather hide it, a generous mount could crop it out, but most buyers keep it as the design feature it is.

    Will the deep blue feel too cold in a north-facing room?

    The blue is balanced by warm cream sand, soft greens and a wide pale border, so it doesn't read icy. In a cooler room, pair it with warm wood, rattan or a lamp with a warm bulb. It tends to brighten a dim wall rather than darken it.
