    About This Art

Hang it above the desk in the study, and nothing else. A golfer's desk collects things, scorecards, a putter in the corner, a pile of books, and the wall above it usually gets the leftover picture. Give it this instead. The deep Atlantic blue sits behind your eyeline while you work, and the sand strip warms up a dark walnut desktop that would otherwise look heavy. Width matters here. Match the picture to roughly two thirds of the desk and the whole corner reads as one piece of furniture rather than a desk with a picture over it. Keep the desk lamp low so the light skims across, not up. If you have played Doonbeg, this is where you will look up and remember the walk through the dunes. Stretched over a wooden frame it hangs without glazing, so no lamp glare over the desk.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the deep blue overpower a small study?

Not at medium size. The off-white ground takes up more than a third of the picture, so the blue reads as a block of colour with air around it rather than a wall of sea. In a room under three metres wide, keep it at 60 to 80cm across and paint or leave the wall behind it in cream, navy or warm grey. It sits quietly against all three.

Does the map show the full course or only the holes along the beach?

It covers the main 18-hole routing of Trump International Doonbeg, from the clubhouse end along Doughmore Bay and back through the dunes, with the par 72 caption in the corner. The practice areas and any neighbouring ground are left out, so what you hang is the course a member would recognise, with fairways, greens and bunkers in their real positions.

Can it work in a living room, or is it strictly a study piece?

It moves to a living room well, provided it hangs above one long piece of furniture, a console or a sideboard, with nothing else on that wall. Pale oak and linen in sand or cream pick up the beach tones and stop it feeling like an office picture. Steer clear of teal cushions nearby, which fight the blue instead of supporting it.
