    Think of it as a Japanese folding screen with less reverence and better instincts. Two cranes face each other across shallow water, framed by plum blossom and bamboo on a soft sage-green ground.

    It brings calm to a room without going flat. The pale background reads as a wash from across the room, then the dark wing feathers and red crowns pull you in close. It's the kind of piece that quietly sets the mood.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    What's your return policy?

    If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

    Will the soft sage green read as grey on a cool-toned wall?

    The greens lean warm, with olive and cream undertones, so against a cool grey or blue-grey wall they can flatten and look a bit dusty. They sit best on chalky off-white, warm cream, or a soft sage-painted wall where the undertones agree.

    Is the composition split down the middle, and will the seam show?

    The original is painted as a two-panel folding screen, so there's a faint vertical line through the centre. It's printed as a single continuous piece — no seam, no join — but the two cranes still mirror each other across the middle as they would on a screen.

    Does it work above a bed, or is it better in a hallway?

    Both work. The wide landscape shape was made for above a bed or a long sideboard, where the two cranes can spread out. In a hallway it's best on a long, uncluttered stretch where you can stand back far enough to take it in.
