About This Art
We like cranes best when they come with a little abrasion. The silk-textured background has rubbed edges and faded patches that stop the picture feeling too neat, and the two birds hold the whole composition without trying too hard.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

How dark does the green background read on a wall?
It reads as a deep, slightly muted green — closer to a forest or bottle green than a bright emerald. In a well-lit room it stays rich and calm; in a north-facing room it leans darker and quieter, which suits bedrooms and hallways well.
Is the composition centred or weighted to one side?
The two cranes sit slightly above centre and the lead bird's beak points right, so the eye travels from lower left up to upper right. Hang it where you mostly approach from the left, or centre it on a wall and let the diagonal do the work.
Will it look too themed in a non-Japanese room?
Not if you keep the rest of the room simple. The painting reads as a bird study before it reads as a cultural reference. Pair it with plain timber, linen and stoneware and it sits comfortably in Japandi, organic-modern and quietly traditional rooms.
