    About This Art

Rooms go quieter when deep blue is this sure of itself. Van Gogh's irises bring real depth and confident colour without shouting, anchored by the cream poster border and the small title block at the foot.

Once it's up, the room reads more considered. The blues pull out anything navy, denim or inky in the space, while the green leaves soften the whole thing so it never feels heavy.

Works above a sofa, a console or a bed. It also holds a hallway on its own, especially against off-white or warm cream walls where the border melts into the paint.

Pair with oak or walnut furniture, linen and bouclé upholstery, brass fittings, and stoneware in cream or earthy tones. A small ceramic vase nearby is all the extra styling it needs.

Don't drown it in other strong florals — it's the loudest flower in the room and likes it that way. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight out of the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Does the print include the cream border and 'Vincent van Gogh / Irises / 1889' text at the bottom?

Yes. The print is styled as a museum poster, with a warm cream border around the painting and a small title block at the foot showing the artist name, the work title in italics and the year 1889. If you frame it, the border becomes part of the composition rather than mat-board.

Will the deep blues feel heavy in a small room?

Not really. The blues are concentrated in the flower heads, but the warm cream border and the fresh green leaves keep the overall feel light. In a small bedroom or hallway with off-white or cream walls, the border melts into the paint and the blues sit forward without weighing the room down.

Is it better hung in portrait orientation only, or does it work on a wider wall?

It's portrait by design, so it suits a taller wall — above a bed, console or in a narrow hallway. On a wide wall it works best off-centre, paired with something low like a sideboard and a tall vase or lamp, rather than floated alone in the middle of a long horizontal space.
