Rooms go quieter when deep blue is this sure of itself. The cypress runs floor to ceiling like a column, the sky swirls behind it, and the warm yellow wheat field stops the whole thing turning cold.
What changes when it goes up: the wall gains a clear vertical line. Tall, narrow walls suddenly have a job. The room feels taller, not busier.
Hang it on a pale wall — chalky off-white, soft stone, warm cream — at eye-level on a feature wall, or slightly higher above a console or sideboard so the cypress has room to run.
Pair with oak or walnut, linen upholstery, stoneware in earth tones, and one brass detail. Keep the surfaces below it calm.
What not to do: don't hang it beside another big, busy Van Gogh. One showpiece per wall. On canvas, the brushwork feels closer to the original — a good fit for rooms that can take a bit of texture.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Is the dark cypress going to feel heavy in a small room?
The cypress is dark, but the sky around it is light blue and the wheat field is warm yellow, so the overall feel is bright rather than weighty. In smaller rooms it reads as a tall vertical line that lifts the eye, more like a column than a block. Pale walls help it breathe.
Does the swirling brushwork still read well from across the room?
Yes. The composition is built around a strong central cypress and two glowing circles in the sky, so the shape carries from a distance. Up close you get the texture and movement; from across the room you get a clear silhouette. It works in both viewing zones.
Will this clash with other Van Gogh prints, or is it fine to pair them?
It pairs well with his quieter Provence work — wheat fields, olive groves, the cottages at Saintes-Maries. Avoid hanging it next to Starry Night or Sunflowers; two showpieces compete. One loud Van Gogh per wall, then calmer companions around it.
